The Hurricane Season Looms

The hurricane season officially starts June 1st. NOAA forecasts "a 65% chance of an above normal" hurricane season in the Atlantic basin. More specifically, the agency lists the potential for 12-18 named storms, 6-10 hurricanes and 3-6 major hurricanes (Cat 3 or higher). It is time to get prepared.
