On Sunday 12/7/14, a low pressure strengthened off the NC coast. This brought strong winds (>30 knots) from the north and large waves. With spring tides from a recent full moon, the storm tides approached 6 ft above MLLW. The storm has yielded some erosion and overwash, and elevated surf is expected for the next few days.
