All Eyes on Joaquin

Over the last few days the models have struggled to forecast Joaquin, but it appears they are coming into some agreement.  According to the National Hurricane Center, this system is looking like it will intensify rapidly over warm waters near the Bahamas and then head north.  Some of the intensity forecasts have the central pressure dropping below 950 mb (becoming a major hurricane) as it comes into the mid-Atlantic coastal region.  Stay informed from the NHC.  Weather Underground is also an excellent source of information. Get prepared now.
